|Paris is absolutely the best place to get your bearings. First trip to the City of Lights? La Tour Eiffel, Louvre, Notre Dame, Sainte-Chappel, Petit Palais, Jardin de Luxembourg and L’Opera are absolute musts – especially when accompanied by mouthwatering bistros, Bertillon and Boulevard Raspail. I even know the precise location of the steps where Woody Allen filmed Midnight in Paris!
How about a guide who will help you explore the catacombs, jazz clubs and Sacre-Coeur in a fashion never imagined? And, do not forget to grab a pass for BatoBus. It is the easiest way to access the Seine’s finest museums without the traffic. By car, by bicycle, by foot, by river or metro, Paris is as seductive as a Laduree macaron!
With Paris behind you, le tout France is at your fingertips. Catch a train from Gare Saint-Lazare to Normandy where all our histories converge. Then move on to Honfleur or the beaches of Deauville.
Headed south? Have a lovely little rental delivered to your hotel in Paris, then head for the Loire Valley, Bordeaux and Biarritz. If warmer climates are more your style, take the TGV to Nice for the sparkle that can only be had in Cote d’Azur!
Anything is possible in France!
